Dealing With Stress and Emotional Trauma

It's the holiday season and the bustling has begun.Office workers preparing end of year reports, traders are trying to make up for the loss of the whole year. The heat causing a major crisis in all of these situations we are bound to be pressured so in all these here are some tips to relax. When you feel stressed take a deep breath, breath in and out, heave lightly and empty your brain of all thoughts. If you still feel stressed if you have the oppourtunity to do some minor exercises, walk around, twist your neck and relaxyour knuckles. You can also sit for about two minutes and just relax drop everything you are doing and free your mind. Lastly which is my own option put on your headphones or earpieces and listen to the current Adele '25' album.

Muslims Are Not Terrorists

I cant help but to stop and wonder sometimes and I ask myself why are Muslims associated with violence? I every time I look everywhere I see a beautiful life and wonderful people, but in the midst of all this wonders that God has made we only bring about chaos, death and misery to ourselves. I have come across some muslims and I must say that most of them have outstanding behaviours, however I can't fathom why it is so difficult to coexist with one another because put aside the religion, race, color, gender and ethnicity we are all one and the same. I did a little study on the terror the world is facing now and almost 92% of it is created by the Muslims, here are a list of some of the top 11 amongst them: 1.  Al-Qaeda 2. ISIS 3. Taliban 4. Liberation Tiger of Tamil Eelam 5. Hezbollah 6. Hamas 7. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan 8. Boko Haram 9. Al-shabaab 10. Lashkar-E-Taiba 11. Muslim Brotherhood Now looking at these groups I couldn't help but to wonder if this is what

Indirect Blackmail

Image
Indirect Blackmailing It was an alarming shock when I read the article as regards to UNN charging their students for Laptop fee. Aspiring students that had been admitted were sorrowful when they found out the whooping #110,000 that was supposed to be paid as a fresher had been increased to #180,000. An interview with a 400 level student had the student lamenting about how students were exploited, explaining that students with laptops from home were been hoisted with another laptop just for money's sake.Authorities have been unable to do anything for the incoming students. I just hope that something can be done to rectify the matter, I'm just a concerned Nigerian student.

Faceless Baby

Image
Correcting Perspectives I cant help but recall this picture again, it was an emotional story of a mother who gave birth to a baby in Aba and was rejected because the baby was considered to be a child of the devil. On doing my own research, I found out somethings about this situation. This is a scientifically explainable condition whereby the part of the brain responsible for the creation of the face organs doesnt respond. It was disheartening to find out that Nigerians were saying that the child was a devil's child and a sign of end times, whereas God Himself said children were the heritage  of God thats why i dont think He'll share His glory with anyone by letting someone take advantage of His heritage. So I plead with all Nigerians to look at things and investigate thoroughly before condemning any situation because this particular situation has happened several times in different parts of the world and by God's grace its been rectified.

Advocacy Of Change Gone Too Far Being an advocate of change I guess I have the right to criticise my movement. I started as being an advocate of change because I know that people will start saying I'm a bad belle, but I believe the truth must be said. Its been seven months since the reign of Change and we have been going through some changes, but the most heart wrenching thing is that majority of these changes are negative and not in our favor. The issue on ground is the fuel scarcity problem, this problem has ensued for some time now. We've been rising and falling, today there's fuel tomorrow there's scarcity. Where's all our crude oil going to? We've been promised Fuel of Forty Naira per litre not that we believe the number one advocate of change is a magician, but at least let it be stable. The least amount of fuel currently is One Hundred and Twenty Naira (that is if you are lucky and if there's fuel in your area) before we can get it we have to w
The 2015 Elections and Beyond: My Expectations For Nigeria. Nigeria, known for her diverse tribes, cultures and languages has managed to rise as a country and a member of Africa’s large family. One of the most enviable things Nigeria possesses is her bond and unity. Aside from her natural resources, she serves as a link to other African countries extending an arm of friendship and brotherliness to countries overseas. Over the years, Nigeria has boasted of her security and government, elections where citizens could attest to the fact that their voices were heard and their votes counted. Abraham Lincoln’s definition of democracy was so emphasized that even a new born babe could define it. In recent times, we have had so much bad news that the whole country is always expectant of bad news. First, it was the various bombings, then the kidnappings - most especially the heartbreaking kidnapping of the Chibok Girls who are still nowhere to be found. The 2015 elections are around the corner
