Actually Purchased

Merry new week guys, I pray that all your good desires come to pass. Amen.

“You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body.”
1 CORINTHIANS 6:20 AMP

I guess many of us that say 'it's my life and I'll live it the way I want' have forgotten this part of the Bible, we've been bought with a price. For emphasis sake there's the 'actually purchased'  part, so we can understand what it means to be bought. As in somebody paid something for your head, it's like the way men feel they have a right over you as a female because they've paid your bride price. 

We weren't then just bought with money or a couple of yams and Schnapps, we were bought by the precious blood of Jesus, as in someone paid 'a life for a life'; 'blood for blood', by so doing you became His property, He became your Lord.

So then, you are to respect, honor and glorify Him with your body, drug abuse is not allowed. Alcoholism is not allowed, several tribal marks are not allowed, dressing indecently. Ladies hollup, guys never have to show any sacred part of their bodies, even when they sag, their boxers is covering them up. Why then do you feel the need to appear almost naked to appease their senses, I'm sure a guy that walks around shirtless appeases your own senses.

Not deviating, glorify God with all your body, let your kidneys, lungs and livers be healthy to glorify God. 
Stop body corruption.

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror. I know how a lot of us go about in Word Conferences and be shouting "Hmm Rhema!" upandan, biko don't get annoyed but all the Rhema you've been getting what have you used it for exactly? Abi you are now a keeper that all you do is catch Rhema, without retaining possession of the Rhema you've received. The truth is that if we've put into practice all the Rhema we've received then we would have become better Christians. Hello, how are you guys doing. I have a story to share, so some time last month, in one day, we had two fire outbreaks in my house, a wall socket that we’ve never used before just caught fire, the other one caught fire and started to burn the curtain in the process. Something funny happened, all of us at home just said “the devil has been defeated” and went about our business again.
