Commitment 4?

Committed 4?
Okay so the holidays are over and tomorrow we resume our serious lives. May the death of Christ put to death all our nasty habits and may the resurrection of Christ birth new and good ones in our lives.

Ruth 4:13
So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son.

Madam Ruth is my case study today, I just love this babe oh. To think of the tragedy that befell her, because when we speak of Ruth we only do justice to Naomi's devastation and we are quick to forget that Ruth also had a tragedy on her hands. She lost a husband to whom she bore no child for.

Yet she just decided that she loved her mother in law so much and she'll happily serve her mother in law. She had no husband expectations but she resisted leaving like her sister in law and stayed with Naomi. She was like if na to chop indomie or if na to soak garri then let's go.

She was also endeared to Naomi's God and she wasn't willing to shy away from service because she had been relieved from responsibility. I think that's one major thing I learnt from her, she held herself responsible irregardless of the fact that she had been relieved from the responsibility.

My bae was truly committed, she would always ask for directions from her mother in law before taking an action. Commitment comes with obedience and a lot of submission.

Cheers guys! Enjoy the week
