Respect Is Reciprocal

Baes and boos gurifin oh, hope we've been having a good day. Today I'd like to share something close to my heart. That's respect and unity, the unity part will come tomorrow BGG.

It's so upsetting when people misbehave towards someone that is a leader figure to them with the excuse that 'we are mates'
These things happen in student fellowships and in churches but the former is rampant.
Many a times this stuff gets to an extreme where we now influence others to do the same
We believe 'the Pressy is in my class I'm even older than him so if he talks rubbish I will give him his size'

Your own is to respect them, not hypocritically but in obedience to God.
This isn't supposed to be, see the Bible says obey them who have the rule over you, don't let them account for you in sadness.
Whatever he/she is, whether they are capable or qualified or not is not your business. Abeg leave matter for Matthias.
Forget that you are mates, your spiritual leaders are representing God so if you can't respect them you can't respect God.

Now to our leaders, your secret sins are between you and God; we leave God to judge you. 
But I implore you those of us beneath you, respect us also. Respect is reciprocal.
Don't use your anointing to intimidate, oppress, threaten or disrespect us; remember without followership there is no leadership 
When God the Father was to begin creation. He called a conference and said "Let us make man in our own image". Even in heaven there's respect 

So in EVERYTHING let us be Godly.
The place of respect is very important even when our leaders are doing wrong just respect 

Jude 1:9
But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

Check this out, even though the devil had fallen, Angel Michael realized that he (devil) was senior in rank to him, so he (Michael) rebuked the devil with the One that was greater than them both.
In summary sha, the book of Ephesians says we should therefore submit ourselves one to another. I won't say more than that.
Stay warm with the fire of the Holy Ghost.

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror.
