Lion and the Lamb

Oh, hi guys thank God for protection . Anyways, today what is on ground for us is;

Hosea 5:14

For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion,

and as a young lion to the house of Judah:

I, even I, will tear and go away;

I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

This is God speaking here, He said He will be as a lion, He will tear them and discard them and even ensure that no one will rescue them. I pray that we don't ever cause God to show us His Lion self before we can acquire common sense.

Many times we've taken this grace thing for granted. We believe that God is kind, gracious and merciful (well, all these are true) but you must also remember that God is a disciplined, no-nonsense God. He's principled. He cannot bend His principle for anyone, you think I'm lying?

 Lemme show you; it was a standing rule that before an atonement for sin is done there must be a sacrifice, so when His beloved son decided to go He didn't change the rule all He did was to make an amendment. I'm not saying that He couldn't change it oh but His 'Yea' is 'yea' and His 'Nay', 'nay'. Don't go and be doing nonsense around and expect that God will always want to forgive. You aren't growing but still at the Same level you are. You are still dipping your hands in the sin He forgave you for 20 days last month. Shebi you are tempting the Lion in Him, you don't want to really die to sin. You are dilly dallying in complete disobedience, the Kingdom is a joke to you abi? Or you are one of those who say they don't need mansions in heaven, that they will sleep in gutter in heaven (I pity your mindset). You better be careful and not let The Lion tear you to pieces, it's better to not get that kind of experience. Remember Uncle Jonah, you've been warned!

John 1:29

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Hmmm, the Lamb; our loving, kind, compassionate, merciful, caring Father. Our High Priest that understands our every emotion. The One that takes our sins away, The One whose blood was shed for our good living. The One who feeds us daily.

My friends, even if you will awaken the Lion, it must be for defense. His aggression shouldn't be focused on you, but should be focused on your enemies.

Enjoy the evening, Hallelujah!
