Listening


Hello guys how are you all doing? How's the day going? Hope we're enjoying the weather.

Lemme just dive right in the Bible reference will come later on, so lemme share a personal experience I had. There's this friend of mine who is constantly in touch with me and then recently we didn't talk. I kept getting nudging  from the Spirit to call but I was forming one foolish pride. I finally consulted the elders and I was asked a simple question "Two option. Do u follow ur spirit and ask after d person or follow ur flesh and hold to ur pride."
As in I didn't even need an answer, I didn't need further talk, I got the gist fast.

On calling my friend, turned out pride didn't allow that one too to call me or accuse me of not calling. I'm glad I realized my mistake and amended. 

Hebrews 2:1
We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.

It is imperative to pay attention and heed to the whispering of the Spirit. It's easy to let the devil justify our actions like I was doing but it is a legitimate son that pays attention and obeys the voice of their Father. 'My sheep hear my voice and follow me..'

  Buenos días amigos ha pasado mucho tiempo , anyways sha it's great to be back. James 1:22-23 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror. I know how a lot of us go about in Word Conferences and be shouting "Hmm Rhema!" upandan, biko don't get annoyed but all the Rhema you've been getting what have you used it for exactly? Abi you are now a keeper that all you do is catch Rhema, without retaining possession of the Rhema you've received. The truth is that if we've put into practice all the Rhema we've received then we would have become better Christians. I know someone is thinking that 'not all Rhema is for me', but wait, if the Rhema was not for you, why were you shouting Rhema in our ears depriving some of us from even hearing what the Rhema was. Hello, how are you guys doing. Lemme quickly jump into this before I lose my train of thought  And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬ So I was relating a few days ago, that once you understand that God is on your side then many things will fall into place for you. I have a story to share, so some time last month, in one day, we had two fire outbreaks in my house, a wall socket that we’ve never used before just caught fire, the other one caught fire and started to burn the curtain in the process. Something funny happened, all of us at home just said “the devil has been defeated” and went about our business again.
