The KEY?

Hola Amigos! How was the holiday, for me it wasn't even like one.

Isaiah 38:5
Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

I studied the life of King Hezekiah, and I noticed some things, persistence in prayer is key but it isn't always key. Here was a man that God had told arrange yourself, you go soon commot. Now the thing is, he prayed totally out of the will of God. You know if you pray out of the will of God, God will not answer but He answered Hezekiah.

The basic reason why God answered him was not that he was praying out of God's will but because he opened a debtor's book for God. The book of Proverbs tells us God doesn't ever owe a debt, so when Hezekiah brought up all his good deeds for God and His people God had to answer the prayer. God is principled, if you insist on something and call up your acts against His will, He will answer you and hands off your case.

It's very good to be persistent in prayers but being persistent against God's will could be destructive for you. At the end of the day Hezzy got more years, he ran his mouth and destroyed the future of his generation yet to come. Persistence is key but always the key.
