Know Your Worth

Hi guys, 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: I guess many of us forget who we are in Christ, so many sing the 'who I am' song but don't really realize who we are. We are priests and not just priests but royal priest, priests that can offer thanksgiving sacrifices to God, we can offer intercession and supplication sacrifices to God.  We've been chosen out of mediocrity into peculiarity, we've been both armored and beautified, and all we are required to do is show forth the praises of the God that called us out of darkness to incredible and marvelous light. Don't let anyone tell you different, don't let anyone make you feel different. I once heard of a man that was sick and waited in line to see the pastor but the queue was so long and the man was at the back of the queue,

Knowing Your Place 2

Image
Hi guys, how's your week start-up going? Okay today let's dive in: Psalm 1:1-2 King James Version (KJV)   Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Now still in the spirit of knowing our place, we need to recognize our place as Christians and act accordingly. now I'm not asking us to be proud, but all I'm saying is that know that your place isn't walking in the counsel of the ungodly, your place is not standing with sinners neither is it seating in the seat of mockers. it's a pity that the modern day Christian is more particular about others making heaven or going to hell and forgetting abot their own pursuits. A lot of us deceive ourselves with the 'I'm trying to win them over' excuse, it's not your job to win them over, remember that for e

Knowing Your Place

Hi guys, it's a new week, so happy new week. April held a lot of expectations for most of us, I hope your expectations were met? If it wasn't I hope you're still holding onto God? 2 Samuel 6:6-7 And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God. So every time I see this verse, I'm like but Uzzah didn't do anything bad na, na help he wan help. Yet I've come to learn that two things had been the question. The first one being, Was he trying to help God? Now from that point of view we could say, that was an insolent and arrogant act, how can you think God can't do it by Himself. We could also say, what was his heart's motive? The second one being, was it his place? He wasn't in the tribe of those anointed by God to handle ark

Service

Good day guys and happy weekend, how was service today? Hope we had fun? From here: “Slaves, be obedient to those who are your earthly masters, with respect for authority, and with a sincere heart [seeking to please them], as [service] to Christ— not in the way of eye-service [working only when someone is watching you and only] to please men, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart;” ‭‭EPHESIANS‬ ‭6:5-6‬ ‭AMP‬‬ This verse says as slaves (who have been bought with a price, of which all of us have been bought) we are to obey they that have rule over us, having and showing respect to the authority of God in them and with a sincere heart. So your service must be from your heart, whether palatable or unpalatable seeking to please them understanding that your service is to God. Not just working when there’s someone to see or applaud our works, but working with the understanding that you have been bought with a price, and therefore you are

Why?, Why Not?

Hey guys it’s the weekend, time flies when you asre always busy and stuck in traffic, but we won’t stop: John 21:17 King James Version (KJV) He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. If you’re conversant with this chapter of the Bible we know what happened, Bro Peter the talkative denied Christ, asked for forgiveness, saw the resurrected Jesus and still went back to his fishing (not of men). Now, in realism if such person was a friend or colleague of mine I will conclude that such a person is very unserious. I’ll just be like “Peter, shey you are sure you know what you wanna do with your life sha?” So I guess Jesus asked him the “Do you love me” question thrice because He wanted to make sure that he (Peter) was sure about it. Peter denied Jesus

Honor

Hey guys, it’s almost the weekend and the end of the month, so today is last Friday, some people can understand the excitement. Romans 12:10 Amplified Bible (AMP) Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor; I wonder why we don’t consider ‘honor’ as much as we should, knowing fully well that it’s a big deal to God. Honor means to regard in high esteem, or having great respect for someone. So a few weeks ago some people were bashing a Pastor accusing him of being sexist. So the feminists were dragging him on social media, when actually the Pastor had previously dragged even the men for promiscuity. My own issue is nowadays people have lost regard for each other, especially the brethren. The Bible talked about false Prophets and stuff and I remember that the instruction was to stay away. Why then, have we turned it to our civic duty to be calling out men of God. These people were c

Righteous Instruments

Hi guys, yesterday was a glitch as I was just getting used to my environment. So lemme leave this with y’all: Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬ So this verse tells me that the individual parts of our body can commit sin, and Apostle Paul is saying we shouldn’t yield, like when your eyes wants to look at someone lustfully, or when your hand wants to take what doesn’t belong to you, could even be your legs leading you to an evil place, you are not to yield at all. The verse before was talking about not allowing sin take over your body and this verse talks about not yielding your members (body parts) to sin. Yield yourself rather to God wholly and fully. When your eyes wants to look lustfully, instead look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith, when your han

Godsurance

Hello people of God, I know the week is going fine. Philippians 4:19 Amplified Bible (AMP) And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. The Version says ‘but’, other versions say ‘and’ while the rest say ‘for’. Anyhow they put it the important thing to note about this prayer is the confidence (Godfidence) and assurance (Godsurance) that Brother Paul had. He was so sure that His God was All Sufficient and could sustainably and continuously supply the needs of the Philippians according to His riches. Now a lot of people casually throw out the prayer “God bless you” without understanding the impact, excuse me which God do you want to bless the person you are praying for? Is it the God that you believe in only when it’s all good? Is it the God you sin against at every little temptation? Is it the God you can’t always stand up for? Paul said “My GOD”, there’s something peculiar about personalizing Go

Strengthened

Good day y’all, how has the day been? I’ve been having this impression on my Spirit to explain to an understandable extent some bible verses that we trivialize: Philippians 4:13 Amplified Bible (AMP) I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] I CAN, not should or will but can, can is a statement of certainty, there’s no doubt in the word ‘can’, but please note that we can do only the things that He has called us to do. This statement is dependent on you doing what God wants you to do. So next time something seems beyond your abilities do make sure that it’s what God has called you to do. Now through Him that gives you strength, His empowerment and strength is not for your desires or for your pleasure but for you to fulfill His purpose

Straight Way

Greetings in the name of My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, see official greeting like Bro Paul. So continuing with our popular verses: Proverbs 3:6 Amplified Bible (AMP) In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. So the Bible also agrees that we human beings we don’t usually have one way, me sef I don’t understand why but this is just saying in everything you do Know God. As in understand God The Father, get all available knowledge about Him. Then you acknowledge and (adding it in my own way) let Him recognize you. There’s a difference between Knowing and acknowledging. See you can casually know someone like maybe you meet once in a while that doesn’t mean that he declare such person as your friend. I can know you and not acknowledge you. Majorly, once you know God The Father then you acknowledge that He is your Father, and He can recognize you and say “ this is my

Trust More

Image
Hello, I know right? It's almost the weekend. So lemme leave y'all with this; “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” Job 13:15 KJV There are some pretty intimidating and admirable stuffs about Job, and this is one of them. He had this unwavering faith in God, he felt he didn't do anything wrong to God which turned out to look like arrogance to his friends, but all the same he was determined to rely on God. He relied on God for a change, he relied on God for answers and he relied on God because he didn't know any other way. Recently I felt slain, so much so I started to question some stuffs in my life. I was almost falling into depression again but a friend just shook me out of it (that's why it's good to have some knowledgeable friends). The next day I woke up with this Hillsong's song 'even if it hurts'. This verse came alive as 'though He slay me yet will I praise Him '

Hey guys, good day. Hope your day was splendid? “But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people will be my people, and your God, my God.” ‭‭RUTH‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭AMP‬‬ So I know I wrote in Ruth a few days ago but my attention was drawn to Naomi. I mean there must have been some qualities in Naomi that made Ruth determined to follow her. Imagine how endearing Naomi had made her God seem to Ruth for Ruth to have wanted to serve Him. I have to commend Naomi on spreading the gospel so much that her daughter in law was willing and ready to forsake her childhood gods and her way of life just to be with an old woman. I've wondered what was it about that old woman, as in understand that both Ruth and Orpah were unwilling to leave Naomi. She had nothing to offer but I'm quite sure she had invested a lot into them. Now the question is what are we investing into people, how endear

Wise Giving

Hi guys, happy new week. Lemme quickly say the post about moral decadence and our positions as Christians birth a prayer in my heart which God has answered, Leadway Insurance took this guys in boxers and dressed them in agbadas, with new placards. Prayer works! What a splendid way God turned it around. I was caught up in something, so I couldn’t really post yesterday. Here goes sha, before that, guys please I need your take on the blog, should it still be a go? Or should it be scrapped? Please do send your feedback, it will be appreciated: 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 Amplified Bible (AMP) Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver [and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift]. 8 And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete suff

Warring 5

Hi guys, how’s the week going? With a smiley face? I’ve been thinking of veering into other stuffs but so far, things keep popping up that stays me on this war stuff. James 5:16 Amplified Bible (AMP) Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. On the warfield, the ideal slogan is “all for one and one for all”, so even though there’s no place for mistakes, when a mistake is made you are to report yourself to a fellow soldier; and that fellow soldier should in turn pray for you, so that the weight of the guilt will be shared by the both of you. That your heart be healed from the pain you felt from disappointing Your Father and He will restore whatever you lost while making the mistake. It says

Warring 4

Hi guys, yesterday wasn’t funny for me oh but las las we dae alright. So I’ve been seeing this #SeeFinish trending on Twitter, and I wasn’t bothered. However I got bothered when I saw those guys wearing a boxer and placard on the roads of Lagos. Romans 1:21-22 Amplified Bible (AMP) For even though [a]they knew God [as the Creator], they did not [b]honor Him as God or give thanks [for His wondrous creation]. On the contrary, they became worthless in their thinking [godless, with pointless reasonings, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, I know that this moral decadence something has been prophesied way back but lemme ask must it be our generation that will see it finish? The way things are going on in respect to moral decay in this country is aggravating, some things that we wouldn’t have dared to do 10 years ago are being done liberally and without fear. Sometimes I can’t help but shake my head for thi

Warring 3

Happy new week guys, I trust it’s going well. So this ‘Warring’ thing is doing me like writing a book called “The Dance Step Called War”, but for now this is what we have: Ephesians 6:13-17 King James Version (KJV) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: There’s this thing about the armor of God that I’ve said before or typed before, it’s that in the whole armor when you are on the battle front your armor should be on you. However, this particular armor has no provision for the whole of your back, God never spoke ab

Warring 2

Happy Sunday guys, how’s it going guys? So sorry about the message yesterday, I had sent it on Friday but it didn’t deliver till Saturday morning. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.” ‭‭EPHESIANS‬ ‭6:12 AMP For our struggle (for those of you that say I have no struggle shebi you can see), is not against people we can see, not that our neighbor or boss that keeps giving you hassles but it’s against the rulers of darkness, against the powers that control darkness (and I don’t mean NEPA oh). There was a valuable lesson I learnt one time ago, someone did something very wrong and in my usual nature I became the upset lawyer. The offended didn’t even bat an eyelid and just calmed me down , when I asked why he wasn’t annoyed he explained that

Warring

Hi guys, good day and happy weekend. Today my verse pick is from: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 Amplified Bible (AMP) For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man. The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ, Shebi we know this verse well, the Bible simply says we are normal guys walking around with abnormal nuclear weapons because our war isn’t that of talking and complaining but note the word divinely (from God) it is for destroying fortresses (kingdoms). Kingdoms that aren’t God’s Kingdom are broken down. The Message Version says the weapons of our trade aren’t for

Godspired

Greetings in the Name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Apostle Paul and the rest of the gang, I’m just fooling around jare. Hi! Job 32:8 King James Version (KJV) But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Job 32:8 Amplified Bible (AMP) “But there is [a vital force and] a spirit [of intelligence] in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding. So a man is made up of; body, soul and spirit: the Bible here is addressing the Spirit part of man. Ever since my friend introduced me to this verse I’ve been in love with it. There’s a vital (important, having great ability) force (pressure) and a Spirit of intelligence in man , so apart from the breath of God giving us life and making us whole, it also gives us understanding. Sometimes, we wonder how men could come up with incredible inventions especially with technology. Some schools of thought argue it’s from the devil, others from science. Well my own school of thought of w

360 Degrees Glory

Hi guys, so today I’m still having this writer’s block, I’m not really understanding as it is doing me, anyways something has to be posted. 2 Corinthians 3:18 Amplified Bible (AMP) And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit. And we all, with an open face, that is there will be no secrets, no boundaries or barriers, will see the glory of God continuously like someone that is looking into the mirror. The fact that we will be able to see the mirror of God is a big deal because, remember our Brother Moses, couldn’t see it really. Even after not seeing it the Israelites couldn’t still stand the brightness of his face from His encounter on the mountain. Then we realize we are progressively, that is it is a gradual process, not something that happens at once, it has stages, we go f

Unwarranted

Hey people, it seems like ages since I last posted, well anyways lemme just share what is there today: “For who regards you as superior or what sets you apart as special? What do you have that you did not receive [from another]? And if in fact you received it [from God or someone else], why do you boast as if you had not received it [but had gained it by yourself]? [You behave as if] you are already filled [with spiritual wisdom and in need of nothing more]. Already you have become rich [in spiritual gifts]! You [in your conceit] have ascended your thrones and become kings without us; and how I wish [that it were true and] that you did reign as kings, so that we might reign with you.” ‭‭1 CORINTHIANS‬ ‭4:7-8‬ ‭AMP‬‬ A lot of us carry our shoulders up in the line of ministry, we get puffed up and we even justify our pride with a verse of the scriptures that “we are boasting in Christ”. Some of us in our Christian races behave like there’s no one but us, of course you lab

Watch those Words

Image
Hi guys, I know it's pretty late, but let's go through this; Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. I discovered as in tested and trusted, that this verse is true, a lot of times we've been too hasty with our replies or we've allowed feelings or emotions to dictate our responses. I've seen instances where a statement was made and a reply was given which evolved into catastrophic circumstances and I've seen others where the same statement was made but a calmer reply was given and the reaction was peaceful. Of course the Yorubas strongly believe in Words presentation but then they also believe that be hasty to listen but be slow to respond. Always having a calm head in giving responses is key to our Christian growth. Believe me, your patience will be tested, there are times where grievous words will be justified but Jesus never replied the Pharisees and Sadducees with grievous words. Not even when He was about to

His Word

Hi guys, hows the week going? Trust you are all doing good? Straight to the point: Romans 3:3-4 Amplified Bible (AMP) What then? If some did not believe or were unfaithful [to God], their lack of belief will not nullify and make invalid the faithfulness of God and His word, will it? Certainly not! Let God be found true [as He will be], though every person be found a liar, just as it is written [in Scripture], “THAT YOU MAY BE JUSTIFIED IN YOUR WORDS, AND PREVAIL WHEN YOU ARE JUDGED [by sinful men].” This entire chapter has been bugging me, the different strokes and patterns with which Apostle Paul addressed some stringent matters is really nice. Lemme add my own little, some of us wonder why some unbelievers still thrive even though they don’t believe in Christ but that just brings me to this, God established the law of harvest. ‘ for everything you sow, you reap’, so if an unbeliever doing legit business, is a giver and a cheerful giver at that the law of harvest tak

Unusual Privileges

Good day guys, how have we been doing? Hope the day was smooth. Very simple a verse screamed at me today: Matthew 6:11 Living Bible (TLB) Give us our food again today, as usual, I love this version of the verse, give us our food again today. It means that the statement was made to someone who has been consistently providing for the speaker without fail. I know we all know it’s Jesus giving us the perfect example of a prayer, yet it teaches us a lot about what to know and expect. It helps us to know that we can rely on God to provide for us consistently without fail. It means that as children we are entitled to ask from our Father a daily provision of what we need, be it food or any other thing. I dunno why I found this verse interesting but it’s pretty intriguing, this is because as Christians many of us have not grown up to that level of ‘don’t worry about tomorrow, look at the sparrow…’, we still fret about things that are beyond our control of which I am chief.

Let's Pray

Hi guys, good evening oh. I greet you with glad tidings, today I’m led to just pray with you guys, so you can also send in prayer requests but lemme get this to y’all: Genesis 27:28-29 Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee. Numbers 6:24-26 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Amen. These particular verses stood out for me, I know it’s weird but accept me as I am. God bless you all. Memoirs of a Christian © Icequeen

Faitherlizer

Good evening guys, hope we all had a great day? Thanks a lot for all your feedback, God bless you. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. To form an opinion and strong belief in your mind you need to have first heard something, somewhere and from someone. The Bible tells us that for you to have faith you need to have heard something and that that something must be the Word of God. Now the deal is what exactly are you listening to? If all you’ve been listening to is that God is the Lion of Judah and a consuming fire ready to devour a sinner, then you probably won’t want to believe He’s also a Merciful God. I’ve attended some denominations where God’s Word is filtered and sometimes you end up leaving that place more confused than you were when you got in. You know why some people believe in declarations? It’s because they feel that things just act up in accordance to your said words. You can’t just be thinking ‘I

Directing Instructions 2

Hi fellaz, how did the day go? Oh sorry, gurifin forgive my lack of manners. So yesterday I wrote on instructions that bear directions and I came across this verse and I’ll like to share: “As they journeyed, there was a great [supernatural] terror [sent from God] on the cities around them, and [for that reason] the Canaanites did not pursue the sons of Jacob.” ‭‭GENESIS‬ ‭35:5‬ ‭AMP‬‬ So many of us when we get that instruction we just start shaking in our boots, we are scared of our village witches that are watching us on black and white tv . So Uncle Jacob just had mouth but couldn’t fight so even after Esau said he had forgiven him, he still went the opposite way then God asked him to go back. When you get that directing instruction be rest assured that the Instructor has you covered, He will either cause your enemies to be at peace with you or He will give them an expensive assignment that will cause them to not even have your time. Your duty i

Directing Instructions

Hi guys, good day, how are y’all doing? Well, I’ve been going through Genesis and I must confess I’m seeing things, so today: Genesis 35:1 Jacob Returns to Bethel Then God said to Jacob, “Go up to Bethel and settle there, and build an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you were fleeing from your brother Esau.” I’ve come to notice that God’s instructions usually come with a direction, He told Abraham to go somewhere, He told Isaac to stay somewhere, He told Jacob to go somewhere, He told Elijah to go somewhere, Jesus told Peter to use his ship to go somewhere, He told Gideon and a lot of people to go somewhere. The deal is for every instruction you get from God it requires either a moving or a staying. Now don’t get it twisted by having vague imaginations of God speaking to you oh, because it could scar you. For you to preempt God’s instruction and move when you aren’t supposed to or to where you aren’t, you have to be very patient and open your e

Renewal

Hi fellaz, thank God it’s the weekend. Alright today my gist is from: “And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].” ‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭AMP‬‬ So no longer be conformed to the traditions and values of this world but be progressively changed. Paul understands the fact your change can’t be instant, so it means you have no excuse because there’s allowance for a progressive change when you mature spiritually. Don’t get pressured into maturing fast, however, don’t slack off and perform below your best. You renew your mind by focusing on the godly stuff and ethical attitudes (God is concerned also with your ethics), so you can

No complacency

Hi guys, it’s the Easter week oh, let’s be happy . Alright, we can analyze together: “Love does no wrong to a neighbor [it never hurts anyone]. Therefore [unselfish] love is the fulfillment of the Law. Do this, knowing that this is a critical time. It is already the hour for you to awaken from your sleep [of spiritual complacency]; for our salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed [in Christ].” ‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭13:10-11‬ ‭AMP‬‬ Love does no wrong to a neighbor, the reason why the world is like this today is because we all lack love. Love has and always will be an integral part of our lives, society and economy. In order to fulfill all laws, we need love more than anything. And we all know that these are critical times, the days are evil and getting more evil everyday. It’s time to wake up from our comfortable slumber, let’s wake up from our spiritual complacency. We don’t care because it’s not really happening to us or in our neighboring environs

Code Of Conduct

Hola Amigos! Hope your day has been popping? “Let us conduct ourselves properly and honorably as in the [light of] day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and irresponsibility, not in quarreling and jealousy. But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for [nor even think about gratifying] the flesh in regard to its improper desires.” ‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭13:13-14‬ ‭AMP‬‬ So let us behave appropriately every day and every time, let’s be honorable in our behaviors, let’s not be like armed robbers that pretend to be good people during the day and become something else under the covers of darkness. Let’s act consciously, knowing that God’s investigating eyes is fully on us. Let’s leave irresponsibility, strives and jealousy aside. I love this part, cloth ourselves with Christ, wear Him, let Him be your garment and make sure you haven’t made any provisions to satisfy the flesh. Don’t think that because you are wearing J

Committed 4? Okay so the holidays are over and tomorrow we resume our serious lives. May the death of Christ put to death all our nasty habits and may the resurrection of Christ birth new and good ones in our lives. Ruth 4:13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son. Madam Ruth is my case study today, I just love this babe oh. To think of the tragedy that befell her, because when we speak of Ruth we only do justice to Naomi's devastation and we are quick to forget that Ruth also had a tragedy on her hands. She lost a husband to whom she bore no child for. Yet she just decided that she loved her mother in law so much and she'll happily serve her mother in law. She had no husband expectations but she resisted leaving like her sister in law and stayed with Naomi. She was like if na to chop indomie or if na to soak garri then let's go.  She was also endeared to Naomi's God an

Oh hi guys, hope you are enjoying the weekend, I'm still open for people that want to take me out. So today I wish I could copy a whole chapter and just type but I can't so I'll drop this verse; 2 Kings 2:10-11 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. So I love this guy called Elisha, I'm doing a bit of thorough study on some Bible characters. So Elisha was one guy that showed us what commitment stands for, right from the time the mantle was placed on him, he never wavered, the guy was an OBO yet he left it all, he was doing a lot of mundane jobs for Elijah. He was absolutely committed to serving his master even at the point of Elijah's de

Hey people of God, trust your day has been good? “So Mordecai went away and did exactly as Esther had commanded him.” ESTHER 4:17 AMP So Uncle Mordy popped up again, so the story is he brought up the queen and when she became queen, he automatically acknowledged her as the queen and not someone he brought up. But we see that he was more committed to God's people more than himself. It was never recorded that he asked her for a favor, although she was the one he told about the plot against her husband, the king's life. Yet the only favor he asked of her was to save the people. His service was thoroughly selfless. His commitment was unshaking, he could have asked Esther for an exalted position because he acted as her guardian or because he saved the king.  The guy just kept on serving, and was well able to say 'yes ma' to his ward.
