Knowing Your Place 2
Hi guys, how's your week start-up going? Okay today let's dive in:
Now still in the spirit of knowing our place, we need to recognize our place as Christians and act accordingly. now I'm not asking us to be proud, but all I'm saying is that know that your place isn't walking in the counsel of the ungodly, your place is not standing with sinners neither is it seating in the seat of mockers. it's a pity that the modern day Christian is more particular about others making heaven or going to hell and forgetting abot their own pursuits.
A lot of us deceive ourselves with the 'I'm trying to win them over' excuse, it's not your job to win them over, remember that for every sinner that Jesus sat with, they ended up receiving God and if they didn't (like in Nazareth), He didn't waste time joining them to scoff at people or argue or gossip, He just let them be. He's given the instruction that 'if they don't receive you, shake the dust off your shoes and leave'. so I think that excuse is outdated. know your place, stop judging sinners, judge yourself, stop worrying about other people living right, worry about you living right.
Of course you can intercede for them but not that you will now call a council of holy elders and dissect someone's mistake or issues or lifestyle, your place is not to utter stuff that Jesus won't say. I was once with some believers and one of them said "at the rate this country is going, yahoo plus lo ma sure ju", I was shook, I just excused myself before I will become the plus ( That's on a lighter mood). Let's know our place oh, there are some places even God will not expect to look for you, like Adam after falling. So totally be on guard.
