Strengthened
Good day y’all, how has the day been? I’ve been having this
impression on my Spirit to explain to an understandable extent some
bible verses that we trivialize:
Philippians 4:13 Amplified Bible (AMP)
I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]
I CAN, not should or will but can, can is a statement of certainty, there’s no doubt in the word ‘can’, but please note that we can do only the things that He has called us to do. This statement is dependent on you doing what God wants you to do. So next time something seems beyond your abilities do make sure that it’s what God has called you to do. Now through Him that gives you strength, His empowerment and strength is not for your desires or for your pleasure but for you to fulfill His purpose for your life.
Jesus’ strength is made available only to those who live according to His purpose for them, there are sometimes that some stuff feel really difficult even after asking Him for strength, see it this way asking for strength to overcome or pass a storm that He wants you to experience and endure through might not be the right thing to be asking. Or asking for strength to move a mountain when you should be asking for strength to climb the mountain.
Now in all this when His strength is made available to you don’t waste it by relying on people, be self sufficient because He is your source. Be ready for battles, be ready to be disturbed by the Spirit, be ready to wake up in middle of the night to intercede, be equal to the task, be equal to send darts to the devil, be equal to disturb the kingdom of darkness through The One that has infused you (that is ajesara) inner strength and peace that is confident. The kind of confident peace that Jesus showed us whilst He was sleeping in the storm.
Be blessed guys.
