Hola Amigos! Hope your day has been popping?
“Let us conduct ourselves properly and honorably as in the [light of] day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and irresponsibility, not in quarreling and jealousy. But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for [nor even think about gratifying] the flesh in regard to its improper desires.”
ROMANS 13:13-14 AMP
So let us behave appropriately every day and every time, let’s be honorable in our behaviors, let’s not be like armed robbers that pretend to be good people during the day and become something else under the covers of darkness. Let’s act consciously, knowing that God’s investigating eyes is fully on us.
Let’s leave irresponsibility, strives and jealousy aside. I love this part, cloth ourselves with Christ, wear Him, let Him be your garment and make sure you haven’t made any provisions to satisfy the flesh. Don’t think that because you are wearing Jesus then you don’t need to check mate yourself and make sure you aren’t entertaining any fleshy desire.
Hmm, I hope to get some insight into wearing Jesus as a cloak but for now, let’s chew on this bit. Love you endlessly guys.
