Renewal

Hi fellaz, thank God it’s the weekend. Alright today my gist is from:

“And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].”
‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭AMP‬‬

So no longer be conformed to the traditions and values of this world but be progressively changed. Paul understands the fact your change can’t be instant, so it means you have no excuse because there’s allowance for a progressive change when you mature spiritually. Don’t get pressured into maturing fast, however, don’t slack off and perform below your best.

You renew your mind by focusing on the godly stuff and ethical attitudes (God is concerned also with your ethics), so you can use the sense you get from the renewal to recognize the will of God, know that it is His good and perfect plan for your life. The best blueprint of your life is the one that God designed, you could get lost if you choose not to follow the print.

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror. I know how a lot of us go about in Word Conferences and be shouting "Hmm Rhema!" upandan, biko don't get annoyed but all the Rhema you've been getting what have you used it for exactly? Abi you are now a keeper that all you do is catch Rhema, without retaining possession of the Rhema you've received. The truth is that if we've put into practice all the Rhema we've received then we would have become better Christians. Hello, how are you guys doing.
