Committed 2?


Hey people of God, trust your day has been good?

“So Mordecai went away and did exactly as Esther had commanded him.”
ESTHER 4:17 AMP

So Uncle Mordy popped up again, so the story is he brought up the queen and when she became queen, he automatically acknowledged her as the queen and not someone he brought up. But we see that he was more committed to God's people more than himself. It was never recorded that he asked her for a favor, although she was the one he told about the plot against her husband, the king's life.

Yet the only favor he asked of her was to save the people. His service was thoroughly selfless. His commitment was unshaking, he could have asked Esther for an exalted position because he acted as her guardian or because he saved the king. 

The guy just kept on serving, and was well able to say 'yes ma' to his ward. He committed himself to the people of God, so much that when he heard news of them he tore his clothes and went into mourning . He was committed to serve the king in whatever post, he was even committed in not bowing to Haman  

Commitment is key, so let's stay committed

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror. I know how a lot of us go about in Word Conferences and be shouting "Hmm Rhema!" upandan, biko don't get annoyed but all the Rhema you've been getting what have you used it for exactly? Abi you are now a keeper that all you do is catch Rhema, without retaining possession of the Rhema you've received. The truth is that if we've put into practice all the Rhema we've received then we would have become better Christians. Hello, how are you guys doing.
